HOW ARE PICNIC FUNDS SPENT?
The cost of a picnic for over 3000 to 5000 people is staggering. Much of the money goes to caterers for beer, pop, cups and ice. The rest of the money is used for
grounds rental, insurance, extra security, life guards, prizes, entertainment,
promotio
and
otion. No money goes to any N.O.C.I. officer or members as their positions and services are donated. Any remaining balance acts as seed money for next year's picnic and other activities.
Last year a reward of $2000. was offered for information in two murders in our community.
